Privacy

Achiever is a personal goal system. What you write in it — goals, milestones, plans, check-ins and reviews — is yours. This page explains what we store, where it lives, who helps us run the service, and what you can do about it.

What we store

• Your account: your email address and, if you sign in with Google, your name.
• What you enter: goals, milestones, weekly targets, actions, progress updates, check-ins, reviews and their history.
• Your settings: time zone, first day of the week, theme, notification choices and assistant settings.
• If you use the assistant: your conversation with it, images you attach, and short notes it keeps about how you work.

Where it lives

Your data is stored in Google Firebase — Cloud Firestore and Cloud Storage — in Google's European multi-region (eur3). It is kept under your account, and our security rules allow only your signed-in account to read or change it. Images you attach to the assistant are stored in Cloud Storage in a folder only your account can read.

The assistant

The Achiever assistant is off until you switch it on in Settings. When it is on and you send a message, our server sends OpenAI your message, any images you attached, the recent conversation, and only the goal data you chose in Settings — your primary goal, your active goals, or everything. Requests to OpenAI are made by our server, not your browser. The assistant can only propose changes; nothing in your plan changes until you accept.

Who processes data for us

• Google (Firebase) — sign-in, database and file storage.
• Vercel — hosts the website and our server code, and sees the technical details of each request, such as your IP address.
• OpenAI — only if you switch the assistant on, and only as described above.

What we don't do

• No advertising, no ad trackers, and we don't sell or share your data.
• No analytics today. If we add usage analytics later, events will record what kind of thing happened, never your goal titles or anything else you wrote.
• Our server logs record account IDs, timings and errors — not the content of your goals or messages.

Cookies and storage in your browser

We don't use advertising or tracking cookies, so there is no cookie banner. Your browser keeps what sign-in needs to remember you, an offline copy of your data so the app works without a connection, and small preferences such as your theme.

Your choices

• Switch the assistant off, change what it can see, or clear its notes and your conversation in Settings.
• Export everything you have entered as a JSON file from Settings.
• Delete your account from Settings. This removes your data, your files and your sign-in.
